This is a Recipe for preparing Kashmiri Style Cauliflower Ki Sabji (Gobi Ki Kashmiri Sabzi). This is a authentic Kashmiri style preparation of the common Cauliflower vegetable dish.
Ingredients
1 Kg Cauliflower (cut in small pieces)
1 Cup Mutter (Peas)
12 Almonds (paste)
8 Green Chilies (paste)
½ Cup Coriander
1 Lemon Juice
2 Pinch Saffron (crushed)
2 Tea spoon Coriander powder
5 Medium size Cinnamon
7-8 Black Pepper Corns
1” piece Ginger
1 Cardamom
1 small piece Nutmeg
1 Table spoon Sugar
(Cardamom, Nutmeg, Sugar prepare powder)
2 Table spoon Oil
Salt to taste
Preparation
Wash and boil the Cauliflower and Green Peas and keep aside. Heat the Oil in a frying pan then add the Cinnamon and Black Pepper Corn. After that add the Almond paste and fry for 5 minutes on a slow sim. Then add the Green Chili, Ginger, Salt, Cauliflower and Green Peas. Mix it well and cook for 5 minutes on a slow sim
Then add the Lemon, Cardamom, Nutmeg Powder, Saffron and Coriander and then cook for 2 minutes on a slow sim.
Before serving the Cauliflower Sabji garnish it with Coriander. Serve hot.
