Tilachi (Sesame) Vadi for Makar Sankranti festival Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 35-40 Wadi

Ingredients
1 Cup White Sesame Seeds
¼ Cup Peanuts
½ Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Dry Coconut (grated)
½ Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
½ Teaspoon Ghee
Preparation
Slightly roast the Sesame Seeds and grind them roughly. Roast the Peanuts, remove cover, grind them roughly, and keep them aside.
Heat the Kadhai and add the Sugar and two-tablespoon water. Prepare slightly thick and sticky Sugar syrup. Then add the Sesame Powder, Peanuts Powder, Cardamom Powder and mix it well and fry for two three minutes on a slow flame.
Apply the Ghee over a stainless steel plate. Remove the mixture from the flame, pour into the plate and spread it evenly.
Garnish with grated Coconut and then cut into the pieces.
