Recently I had had an opportunity to review the Britannia Nut & Raisin Romance Cake, the latest cake offering from Britannia Cakes. The cake is soft, spongy, contains amongst other ingredients a lot of nuts and raisins, and can compete with the Nut and Raisin Cake you buy from the local bakeries. The company it appears has great ambitions from this launch, as the Romance Cake is probably the only one of its kind available in the retail market, which can be easily purchased at any local grocery shop.
Attractively packaged and priced at 50 bucks for a 160 grams pack, the Romance Cake gives you an alternative to similar cakes available with the local bakeries and eateries and it appears that Britannia Industries is aiming to get a reasonable share of this market.
The taste is great, the cake is generous in nuts and raisins content, and hence I will most certainly recommend this product.
