This is a Recipe for preparing Bengali Style Rohu Machli. This is an authintic Bengali preparation; a specialty and famous dish in these parts of India.
Ingredients
500 Gram Rohu Machli (clean and cut in medium size pieces)
1 Cup Curd
3-4 Cloves
4-5 pieces of Cinnamon
1 Cardamom brown
1 ½ Tea spoon Red Chili powder
½ Tea spoon Turmeric
7 Green Chili (Paste)
½ Tea spoon Sugar
2 Table spoon Ground nut Oil
Salt to taste
Preparation
Heat Oil in a pressure Cooker add the Cloves, Cinnamon, and Cardamom. After that add Machli, Chili powder, Curd, Green Chili paste, Sugar, Salt and 1 Cup of Water. Cover with a lid and cook on high flame for 5 minutes then 3-4 minutes on a slow sim.
Serve hot with Rice.
