This is a step-by-step Recipe for preparing at home crisp Deep-Fried Corn Spinach and Rice Balls.
The Corn-Rice Balls are great corn and spinach rice dish to treat your family with once in a while, combines the flavor of Palak, Corns and Cheese to prepare a unique Fried Kabeb like dish, which can be served with any kind of meal, including party meals.
Preparation Time – 60 Minuts
Serves- 4 Persons
Ingredients
2 Teacups cooked Rice
1 Tea cup Cooked Corn
3 Table spoon finely chopped and boiled Spinach
2 Table spoon chopped Coriander
3 Chopped Green Chilies
2 Table spoons grated Cheese
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
For the Sauce
1 ½ Tea cups Milk
5 level table spoon plain flour
4 Table spoons Butter
For the Batter
½ Tea Cup plain flour
1 Tea cup Water
Bread Crumbs
Tomato Sauce
For the Sauce
Melt the Butter, Add the flour and cook for few minutes.
Add the Milk and go on cooking, stirring all the while till the sauce is thick.
Remove from the fire.
How to proceed
Add the rice, corn spinach, coriander, cheese and Salt. Mix well. Shape into round balls.
Mix the plain flour and water. Dip the balls in the batter, roll into bread crumbs and deep fry in Oil.
Serve hot with Tomato ketchup.
