This is a simple and easy to understand recipe for preparing at home delicious Maharashtrian Style Stuffed Lady Fingers [Okra] or Bharli Bhendi in the Marathi language.
The Stuffed Bhindi recipe, described by me is an authentic and traditional Maharashtrian Bhindi recipe for the main course.
Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons
Ingredients
½ kg Lady Finger
1 Table spoon Coriander powder
¼ Tea spoon Turmeric
½ Tea spoon Red Chilies
Salt to taste
1 Table spoon Amchur powder
¼ Table spoon Garam Masala
1 ½ table spoon oil
Preparation
Wash each Lady finger, remove tops and lower portions of lady fingers and slit each length.
Mix all dry masalas (Coriander powder, Turmeric, Red Chilies powder, Salt, Amchur powdered, Garam masala and give filling in each lady finger.
Heat oil and fry Lady Fingers on slow fire till tender. Serve hot.
Sufficient for 5 persons
