This is a simple step-by-step Recipe for preparing at home sweet Coconut-Tomato Vadi or Nariyal Tamatar Burfi in the Hindi language. This tasty and delicious Burfi, which makes the use of shredded coconut and fresh tomatoes can be a welcome add-on to the annual Diwal Faral.

Ingredients
3 Cups Coconut (shredded)
3 Big size Tomatoes
1 ½ Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
2 Tablespoon Sugar Powdered
1 Teaspoon Ghee
Preparation
Boil the Tomatoes, peel them and prepare Tomato Puree in the mixer and then filter it.
In a Kadai add the shredded Coconut, Tomato Puree, Sugar, mix it well and cook it until it become a thick mixture.
The mixture should be slightly dry,
Then add the Cardamom Powder and Sugar powder and mix it well.
Apply the Ghee over a stainless steel plate and pour the mixture into the plate and pat it equally all over and then cut it into Diamond Shaped pieces with a knife.
The Tomato-Coconut Burfi is ready.
