This is a Recipe for making at home sweet and delicious Dates Roll-2 (Khajur Che Roll). This Dates Recipe is easy to prepare and Children like it very much. In this post, I have explained the step by step procedure to prepare the Roll at home.
Dates Roll- 2 (Khajur Che Roll) Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons
Ingredients
200 Gram Dates (Khajur)
2 Table spoon Dry Coconut (grated and slightly roasted)
½ Table spoon Poppy Seeds (Khas-Khas)(slightly roasted)
1 Table spoon Dry Fruits Powder (Cashew nuts, Almonds)
1 Tea spoon Cardamom Powder
For Garnishing
1 Table spoon Badi Saunf [ multicolor sugar coated Saunf ]
2 Table spoon Dry Coconut (grated and slightly roasted)
1 Table spoon Poppy Seeds (slightly roasted)

Preparation
Clean and wash the Dates and keep them aside for 10-15 minutes on a Napkin and then remove the seeds from the Dates and then grind the Dates to a paste.
Roast the Poppy seeds and grated Dry Coconut.
Mix the Dates paste, Poppy seeds, Dry Coconut, Dry Fruits powder, Cardamom powder and prepare a Dough.
Roll the Dough on a plastic sheet. While rolling the Dough keep a plastic sheet below and above the Dates mixture.
Roll the Dough like a thin Chapatti. Then cuts 1” strips and then take them, one by one and roll them.
Lastly roll them in the Poppy Seeds, grated Coconut and Badi Saunf.
