Recipe for Kothimbir [Coriander] Wadi

This is a step by step Recipe for preparing Maharashtrian Style Kothimbir [Coriander] Vadi. This is an authentic and traditional Maharashtrian recipe. This dish, prepared using fresh Coriander leaves and Gram Flour as the main ingredients is a tasty add on to the main course of a typical Maharashtrian meal.

Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 6-8 Persons

Ingredients
2 Bunch of Kothimbir (Coriander)
2 Cup Besan [Gram Flour]
1 Table spoon Red Chili Powder
1 Tea spoon Turmeric
1 tea spoon Badisaunf [Aniseed] (make powder)
2 Table spoon Oil
1 Pinch cooking Soda
Oil for frying the Wadi.
Salt to taste

Preparation
First wash the Kothimbir nicely and then Cut it and add the Besan, Red Chili powder, Turmeric, Salt & Cooking Soda and mix it well.
Heat the 2 table spoon Oil and then add it to the kothimbir mixture and then make 2 rolls and put them in a plate.
Then put the plate in a pressure cooker to cook, give 2 whistles
After that cut the rolls into round shaped pieces and then shallow fry in the frying pan.
