This is a typical Indian breakfast or snacks recipe for Masala Vada
Ingredients
2 ½ tea cup gram dal
2 chopped onions
3 chopped green chilies
4 table spoon green coriander
1 ½ grated coconut
2 table spoon chopped pudina
1 table spoon white cumin
Salt as per taste
Ghee for frying
Preparation
Soak the gram dal in water for about 4 hours.
Then grind the soaked gram dal along with the cumin, green chilies and then add the remaining ingredients.
Shape into round Vadas and flatten then a bit and fry them in ghee or oil.
Serve hot with chutney .
