This is a recipe for preparing at home spicy, tasty and delicious restaurant or dhaba style Keema Matar (Mince with Peas).

Ingredients
2 medium onions
1 clove garlic
3 table spoon. ghee
1/2 kilogram. minced meat
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon chili
1/2 teaspoon ginger
4 table spoon yogurt
100 grams shelled peas
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 few springs of coriander leaves if available
2 green chilies
Lemon juice (optional)
Salt to taste
Preparation
Slice the onion finely and chop the garlic. Heat the fat and fry the onions till they become golden brown, Lower the heat slightly and add the garlic, mince, turmeric, chili, ginger and salt. Fry for 5 minutes then add the yogurt.
Mix thoroughly, cover and simmer till mince is three quarters cooked. Add the peas, cover and simmer till both mince and peas are tender. If too dry when cooking add a tablespoon of water as often as necessary.
When ready sprinkle with garam masala, chopped coriander leaves and green chilies. Lemon juice may be added if required.
