This is one of my more simple recipes for preparing crunchy and delicious for Capsicum Pakoras – Shimla Mirch Ke Pakode – Shimla Mirchi Bhaji, at home.
Ingredients
5 Medium Capsicums
1 Onion
½ Tea spoon Saunf Powder
½ Tea spoon Red Chili powder
1 Pinch of Soda
Salt to taste
100 Grams Besan
Coriander Leaves
½ Tea spoon Asafoetida (hing)
Oil for frying
Preparation
Cut Capsicum in thin sings and dip in Salt water for 5 minutes.
Mix Besan, Saunf powder, Red chili powder, Salt, Hing, Soda, Finely chopped Coriander leaves and Onion.
Make a thick paste by adding sufficient water.
