This is a Recipe for preparing at home spicy Maharashtrian Style Green Peas Chutney. This is an uncommon Chutney recipe called as Hirvya Matar Chi Chutney in Marathi and Hare Matar Ki Chutney in Hindi.

Green Peas Chutney Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons
Ingredients
¼ Kg Green Peas
100 Gram Peanuts
1 Small Lemon Juice
4-5 Green Chilies
Jaggery, Sugar and Salt to taste
1 Table spoon Oil
For Tadka
1 Table spoon Oil
½ Tea spoon Mustard Seeds
½ Tea spoon Cumin Seeds
¼ Tea spoon Asafetida
Preparation
Heat one table spoon of Oil in a Kadhai. Then add Green Peas, Peanuts and Chilies and roast for 5 minutes.
After that add Salt, Sugar and Jaggery. Then mix it well and prepare a coarse paste and keep it aside.
Heat one table spoon Oil and prepare the Tadka and add in to a mixture. Mix it well and serve.
