This is a Recipe for Special Krispies. This is a useful snack to have around the house. Tastes a bit like salted Shankarpali.
Ingredients
250 Grams Maida
½ Cup Rice Flour
2 Table spoon Butter/oil
1 Table spoon Ajwain
Salt to taste
Preparation
Mix all the above ingredients with water to make a stiff dough. Knead thoroughly, and keep aside for ½ an hour. Make medium size balls with the dough. Roll out into a large chapatti. Cut in half horizontally. Cut thin strips from the halves. Take one strip; twist it gently to form a spiral. Prepare all spirals in such manner and deep fry in hot oil, till golden in color.
