This is a Basic Recipe for Stuffed Potatoes, using this particular recipe. Which is for the main course, you can fill any kind of stuffing inside the Potatoes. The stuffings, I have experimented with include dry cooked Meat, Keema, Mint Chutney, Peas and Cauliflower.
Ingredients
10 Medium size Potatoes
1 Big size Onion Paste
1 Table spoon Oil
¼ Cup Curd
¼ Tea spoon Turmeric Powder
1 Tea spoon Red Chili Powder
1 Table spoon Coriander Leaves
1 Tea spoon Coriander Powder
Salt as per taste
2 Medium size Tomatoes Puree
Preparation
Peel Potatoes and scoop out of the inner part of the Potatoes leaving a thin lining of Potatoes. Fill the Potatoes with the filling made out of dry Meat, Keema, Mint Chutney, Peas or Cauliflower.
Put the cap (sliced Potatoes) on each Potato and fix it with tooth picks. Fry the Potatoes until golden brown. Fry Onions in Oil until golden brown, then add Tomatoes, and cook.
Add Masala and cook and then add Curd and mix it well and cook till the mixture is golden brown. Add fried Potatoes and left it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Garnish with Coriander. Serve hot.
