Maharashtrian Style Shahi Methi Kismis Bhaji

This is a most simple and easy Recipe for preparing at home authentic Maharashtrian Style Shahi Methi Kismis Bhaji. This is a traditional main course Maharashtrian Pale Bhaji Vegetable preparation using fenugreek leaves and raisins as the main ingredients.

Maharashtrian Style Shahi Methi Kismis Bhaji Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 4 Persons

Ingredients:
1 Bunch of Methi Leaves [fenugreek leaves]
¼ Cup Kismis [Raisins]
¼ Teaspoon Coriander Seeds Powder [Dhaniya Powder]
1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder [Lal Mirchi Powder]
¼ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder [Haldi Powder]
¼ Teaspoon Amchur Powder
Salt as per taste
½ Tablespoon Oil
5-6 Almonds [Badam] pieces for garnishing

Preparation
Clean the Methi leaves and then finely chop them and wash and remove the excess Water.
Heat the Oil in a Kadhai and add the Kismis, Coriander Seed Powder, Red Chili Powder and fry for two minutes on a slow flame.
Then add the chopped Methi Leaves, Salt, Turmeric Powder and ¼ cup Water and cook for 8-10 minutes on a slow flame.
Add the Amchur Powder mix it well.
While serving garnish with Almonds pieces.
