This is a simple to understand step-by step Recipe for making at home Indian Style Spinach in White Sauce, a tasty main course leafy vegetable flavored in a specially prepared White Sauce.

Serves: 4 Persons
Ingredients
1 Small size Spinach Bunch
½ Cup Sweet Corn niblets
1 Cheese Cube (shredded)
1 Maggi Cube
Salt as per taste
For the Tadka
1 Tablespoon Oil
1 Medium size Onion (chopped)
4-5 Garlic Petals (mashed)
2 Green Chilies (crushed)
For preparing the White Sauce
1 Tablespoon Butter
1 Cup Milk
2 Tablespoon Wheat Flour
½ Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
Salt as per taste
Preparation
Clean and wash the Spinach Leaves and then chop them.
Heat the Oil in a Kadai and add the mashed Garlic, Onion and Green Chilies and saute for two minutes on a slow flame. Then add the chopped Spinach Leaves and Sweet Corns and cook them on a slow flame for five-seven minutes.
Meanwhile prepare the White Sauce: Heat the Butter in a Kadai and add the Wheat Flour and fry for two minutes on a slow flame. While frying the Wheat Flour stir it continuously then add Milk slowly and stir it continuously for two-three minutes. Then add Salt and Black Pepper and mix it well.
After cooking the Spinach add the White Sauce, shredded Cheese, and Maggi Cube and mix it well. And cook the Spinach for five minutes on a slow flame.
If you want to bake the Spinach instead of cooking then bake on 180 degree for 10 minutes.
Serve hot with Paratha or Toast.
