This is a Recipe for making at home crispy and delicious authentic Maharashtrian Style Gram Flour or Besan-Masala Chi Chakli. Apart from being a useful snack, this Chakli can add variety to your annual Diwali Faral.
This Chakli is prepared using Besan as the main ingredient along with Rice Flour and some selected spices like Red Chili Powder, Sesame Seeds, Kalonji and Ajwain.

Preparation Time: 60 Minutes
Serves: 30-32 Nos
Ingredients
2 Cups Besan [Gram Flour]
½ Cup Rice Flour
1 Tablespoon Ajwain
1 Tablespoon Red Chili Powder
2 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
¼ Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Kalonji
2 Tablespoon Fresh Cream
Salt as per taste
2 Tablespoon Oil (hot)
Oil for frying the Chakli
Preparation:
Heat the Kadai and roast the Besan until the color changes into light brown.
Then mix the roasted Besan, Rice Flour, Ajwain, Red Chili Powder, Sesame Seeds, Baking Powder, Kalonji, Fresh Cream, Salt and add the hot Oil mix it well then add some Water and prepare a Dough.
Keep the Dough aside for 10-15 minutes.
While preparing the Chakli apply a little bit of Water inside the Chakli making machine.
Insert the Chakli mixture into the Chakli maker and prepare the Chakli on a plastic paper.
Heat the Oil in a Kadai and deep-fry the Chakli on a medium size flame.
Prepare all Chakli in the same procedure.
After preparing all Chakli store them in an air tight container.
