Mango, the king of fruits, captivates us with its color and aroma. I have prepared a special Mango or Ambyache Appe recipe using Mango Juice and Suji as the main ingredients.
These sweet and delicious Ambyache Appe can be served as a sweet dish after a meal or even for breakfast or a feast.
Preparation Time: 40 Minutes
Serves: 14 Nos
Ingredients
1 Cup Suji Semolina { Rawa}
½ Cup Mango Pulp
6 Tablespoon Sugar
¾ Cup Milk
2 Tablespoon Desiccated Coconut
½ Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
½ Teaspoon Eno or Baking Powder or Baking Soda
2 Tablespoon Ghee
2 Tablespoon Oil
Preparation: First prepare Mango Pulp and keep it aside. In a Large bowl take Suji and add the Mango Pulp, Sugar, Desiccated Coconut, Cardamon Powder and mix it well. Then add half of the Milk and mix it well. Cover the batter with a lid and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
Apply Oil over the Appe Maker and keep it on low flame.
Remove the lid and check the batter to see if it has become thick. Then, add the remaining Milk and mix it well. The batter should be of a slightly thin consistency. Then, add the Eno and mix it slowly in a one direction for 30-40 seconds.
Now the batter is ready, preheat the Appe Maker and fill the Molds by adding batter in them. Cover with a lid and cook for 4-5 minutes on a slow flame. Then, Remove the lid and spread some Ghee over the Appe and again cover with a lid and cook for 2 minutes.
After 2-3 minutes remove the lid and turn the Appe over and cook for 3-4 minutes on a slow flame.
Now the Mango Appe are ready to serve.
